Carlton SooHoo was wonderful. He sent a video on how to enter his studio several day before the class this was very helpful. We worked in the hallway and outside. Everyone else had canceled so it was just Carlton and myself so I received one on one with a professional for two hours. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and kind. We worked at my pace and Carlton was sure to explain every detail of the photo stacking process. We shot some examples then we uploaded the images onto his computer. We then worked together to complete the photo stacking process. Carlton allowed me to complete the process on his computer to be sure I fully understood how focus stacking works both in camera and thru the computer. He later sent along the class handout. Truly a wonderful experience and value.

Originally I was chasing the Sunrise but some clouds made me change plans. Around 6 am ducks, geese, seagulls and every other bird wake up offering the chance for some nice pictures. Although I missed the Sunrise, the wonderful lights were there so I just continued taking pictures of flying birds. When I saw this Bufflehead duck I followed, aimed , shot and bingo! ( I got a few in a burst the previous one looks like it is walking on the water ) I think they are particularly majestic whi

A familiar sight in the park, I often bring my camera when walking my child here. I feel like we?ve watched this particular family of geese many times. I remember seeing them in spring, when they were tiny, fluffy goslings splashing in a puddle under their parents? watchful eyes. Now, in autumn, the young are nearly as big as their mother and gander, an inseparable family unit. Soon they will embark on their first journey south, migrating together. They will remain as a family until next spring
